I have a Baby Lock Melody sewing machine. I was so excited to get the walking foot with it. (my old Kenmore had no such thing, and you couldn't even get one to fit)
Anyway, I'm making ds mission quilt, and am using the walking foot for the straight stitch parts of the quilting. Every so often (frequently) it starts jumping. It will sew fine, and then start to jump, causing it to veer off course, and skip a stitch or two. My machine never skips on any regular stitching...just with the walking foot.
What am I doing wrong? Too fast (am going super slow)? Any ideas?
